Fly... off a bike

Went cycling on Thursday with Yilinn, Chi Foong and Ken.
The group was small compared to the number I invited. (26)
I was late in meeting them, all because of the finals of American Idol. Looks like my theory was only half correct -.-lll. America has decided and I have nothing more to say. Now its time to see what happens on the charts with their music.

The sun was good, the wind was nice, the sea was calm and there were a lot of primary school kids around…running here and there on their school outing…
Kids walking on the cycling track… can’t seem to make up their mind about whether they want to walk across or wait for you to cycle before they join their friends on the other side of the ‘road’.
Kids playing the on the cycling track itself… that results in injuries not for them but the cyclists.
I was cycling behind Yilnn and she had to brake because the kids were in the way… I had to jam brake… see Sharon fly… landed on my back, bruised my palms, scraped my knee and bruised other parts of my body… now my body is aching.
The paddle of the bike got spoilt in the process and I had to go back and switch bikes… good thing I did not have to pay for the damage.
We cycled to Bedok jetty and back again, having lunch along the way. Saw Kim Ng and Yi Feng at the food centre. Did not see their wings any where… must be some new show they were doing… haha~
We hung out at McDonalds and talked while waiting for Winnie to turn up.
When she arrived, we went to play pool… so long never play liao lo~
I must say that Chi Foong is a jack of all trades. TKD luggie siao on. Pool very jun one. Cycling also pro. Computer… dat one don need to say liao… He has a very bright future ahead of him. I can’t wait to see him wearing black belt gi. He is going to make a very good coach. Confirm!

Went to Orchard point and Plaza Singapura with Mum to look for clothes.
Bought 4 Giordano shirts.
A dress from Daniel Yam.
A pair of sun glasses.
Total amount burned: about 80 odd. :D
What can I say, it’s the Great Singapore Sale!

Me thinks that Giordano is going to have to start paying me for wearing their clothes so much. I think more than 1/3 of my shirts come from Giordano liao lor~
Need to find an occasion to wear the dress… heh~
Was actually supposed to go to OG to buy a dress for my brother’s wedding but could not find anything at outlet, so I guess we’ll have to get something tailor made. -.-lll
Thank goodness still got time. Hahaha~
I tried on my first air of contact lenses last year around this time. One could say that I have come full circle with the lenses. Haha… well, it has been a long while since I wore my contacts for such a long period of time. Have to get used to wearing them again… first wear for 4 hours, then extend to 6, 8 and finally to 12 … provided my eyes don’t pop out on me. O.olll
My main reason for getting the contacts is for my training and sparring. Cannot wear glasses during sparring… so either I wear contact lenses or kick all the way blind. Which situation would you prefer?
Besides, my next grading requires me to spar and I don’t think I would like to get kicked and not see the leg coming. Me is the one who wanna block the kicks and bish that person.
Muah hahahahaha… so much for being a pacifist. Ladida~
